Week 1 — Technical Setup & Fact Find

Setup of application in a dedicated AWS cloud. Single Sign-on (SSO) integration. Kick-off meeting to gather configuration requirements.

Weeks 2–3 — Configuration 1

Configuration of brands, indications, countries, and functions. Also includes: start use of SmartLaunch® for client project lead.

Weeks 3–4 — Configuration 2

Configuration of launch framework and plan templates. Full platform configured and ready for rollout to teams.

What is Required From Viatris

We keep the burden on your team minimal. Here's what we typically need to get started — most of this is gathered during the kick-off meeting on Day 1.

Fact Find Questionnaire

We use a Fact Find Questionnaire to capture key data for SmartLaunch® configuration. This process begins during the kick-off meeting on Day 1.

Typically needed:
  • Brand & indication names
  • Regions & countries
  • List of functions (e.g. Marketing, Medical, Market Access)
  • Corporate brand guidelines and logo
  • Product/brand logos
Planning Framework

SmartLaunch® is configured to mirror your plan framework and templates. We work closely with you to refine the data before setup begins.

Typically needed:
  • Plan Framework structure (e.g. in PowerPoint)
  • Plan Template(s) (e.g. in Excel)
  • Key Dates by brand/country (registration, reimbursement, launch)
Client IT (SSO)

We coordinate with your IT team to integrate Single Sign-On (SSO) with a streamlined setup process starting Day 1, minimising IT effort.

Typically needed:
  • SSO meta-files (SAML 2.0) — we provide setup instructions
  • SSO support for Okta & Azure Active Directory

Week 5 & Beyond

Training, Rollout & Ongoing Support

In Week 5, we deliver separate training and onboarding sessions for global teams, country teams, and superusers — ensuring high adoption from day one.

After go-live, we provide continuous support, maintenance, and quarterly releases with new functionality throughout the licence term.
